We are excited to announce that Prof. Noah Bubenhofer, one of our directors and a professor at the University of Zurich, will be presenting a lecture as part of the "Kulturanalyse jetzt!" lecture series at UZH. His lecture, titled “Was bedeutet der Erfolg von LLMs eigentlich für unsere Vorstellung von Sprache?” (What Does the Success of LLMs Actually Mean for Our Understanding of Language?), will take place on October 21, 2024, from 16:15 to 18:00 at the University of Zurich.
This lecture is part of the larger thematic exploration within the "Kulturanalyse jetzt!" series, which focuses on the cultural analysis of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its implications. Organized by the University of Zurich’s Cultural Analysis program, the series aims to critically examine how AI technologies impact cultural practices, daily life, and societal structures.
