Tilia Ellendorff works as Data Scientist with focus on NLP and Human Language Technology at UZH's  Linguistic Research Infrastructure (LiRI). Before joining LiRI in 2022, she was employed at the Institute of Computational Linguistics at UZH.

After an undergraduate degree in Linguistics at University of Paderborn (Germany), she obtained a joint Master degree in Natural Language Processing and Human Language Technology at the University of Wolverhampton (UK) and the University of the Algarve (Portugal), followed by a PhD in Computational Linguistics at UZH with a focus on biomedical text mining.
