Gorka has a background in experimental psychology; his previous research investigated brain responses to words and symbols in children with and without dyslexia using EEG. His postdoctoral work spanned roles at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Zurich, focusing on EEG networks, audiovisual learning, developmental studies, and computational models of decision-making. Since 2023, he has been at the Center for Reproducible Science, applying his expertise in diverse methodologies to enhance reproducibility and open science.
In collaboration with the University Library and the Center for Reproducible Science he joins LiRI as our Data Steward to assist our users with data management, data publication and implementing reproducible methods with in their research groups.
