Teodora is a Principal Investigator in the VideoScope project and the CAPIRE project, focusing on multimodal analysis of human interaction based on videos. She is developing automatic tools and software to process hand gestures, facial expressions and speech. Along with the tools, Teodora is devising methodology for multimodal corpora that can integrate various communicational modalities in a systematic way, as well as methods for querying and analyzing such corpora. She also collaborates in the CineMinds project, integrating a large collection of audio and video interviews with expert film-makers into a large multimodal knowledge base.
