LiRI Upcoming Workshops in Statistics

Join us this spring for LiRI's enriching series of free statistics workshops, designed to serve the needs of graduate and undergraduate students alike.

This spring semester, we are continuing to offer a series of free workshops in statistics for both graduate and undergraduate students  in both in-person and online formats.

In-Person Workshops at LiRI: "Meet the Families" Series
Speaker: Andri Manser

Our "Meet the Families" series, held at Andreasstrasse 15, Zurich-Oerlikon, focuses on different types of data analysis within a generalized linear modeling framework:

1. Count Data: Explore effective analysis techniques for count data, from basic GLMs to managing overdispersion and zero-inflation.

  • Date: Wednesday, April 17, 2024, 14:15-16:00
  • Registration Deadline: April 12, 2024

2. Ordinal Data: Dive into the analysis of ordinal data, frequently seen in questionnaires, through ordinal regression.

  • Date: Wednesday, May 15, 2024, 14:15-16:00
  • Registration Deadline: May 10, 2024

3.Proportion Data: Enhance your skills in logistic regression for proportion data analysis, addressing common issues like overdispersion.

  • Date: Wednesday, June 19, 2024, 14:15-16:00
  • Registration Deadline: June 14, 2024

Online Workshops via Zoom
